Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Reply to email, telephone or face to face inquiries
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Handle multiple projects
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient

Requirements and Key Skills:

  • Proven admin or assistant experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficient in common computer applications including Microsoft Office suite
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree or higher preferred

Medical Biller

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Demographic entry
  • Insurance verification
  • Charge Posting
  • Payment Posting
  • Answering customer phone calls
  • Insurance follow-up
  • Working accounts receivable

Requirements and Key Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in full cycle billing.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of CPT/ICD10 coding, insurance cards, and medical benefits
  • Positive team player
     

Medical Assistant

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Essential front desk functions such as patient scheduling, patient phone calls, checking patients in and out, prior authorizations (Pharmacy and Medical), and referrals
  • Aiding clinicians in providing medical care as well as an excellent patient experience
  • Scanning medical records and obtaining patient health records as needed for patient visits and treatment
  • Preparing patient for exam by taking and recording vital signs and symptoms
  • Travel between the clinics in Phoenix area
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment

  • Experience using EHR programs
  • Clear communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Time management skills
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
  • Previous pulmonary and/or sleep medicine experience is a plus.
